Green

Our units incorporate many green features to reduce our impact on the environment. The proximity to the nearby restaurants and night life, and NJ Transit buses mean that you can leave your car at home and save some fuel while you're at it. The units have low v.o.c. paints to improve indoor air quality, energy star appliances and all L.E.D. lighting to reduce energy use, high efficiency windows, low consumption water fixtures, individual hot water heaters so that you can choose how much you use and pay for, and recycled flooring and other materials that reduce our input in landfills.

Design

Step into any of the units and you might think they are more spacious than most other units that you've seen and you'd be right. Our units were designed with that bit of extra space which means larger kitchens, living rooms that can fit both a table and a couch (and maybe even a desk and some other things), and bedrooms that fit a bed as well as furniture.  They also may seem brighter too because all units have oversized windows or floor to ceiling glass bay windows which bring in extra light and views.  And with the perch on top of the Palisades many of the units have spectacular views of the George Washington Bridge and the Manhattan skyline.

Features

All units feature modern bright kitchens with solid surface counter tops, Whirlpool stainless steel appliances with microwave, dishwasher, flush top range, French door refrigerators, mosaic tile backsplashes, and commercial sinks with pull-out sprays and built-in soap dispensers. All units with separate master bathrooms have spa like large walk-in showers with frameless glass doors in the master bathrooms and tile in all bathrooms is by Porcelanosa.  Window shades are included as is prewiring for phone and cable television in bedrooms and living room.  All units feature state of the art individual large sized energy efficient washer and dryers.

The Practical Stuff

parking, video intercom, elevator

Aside from the fun stuff, there's the practical stuff too.  Every unit includes covered indoor parking, a state of the art video intercom system, cold water included in the rent, and bicycle and stroller storage.  The building has full fire sprinklers throughout, fire and smoke alarms in units and common areas, and an emergency generator.

Living it up in Fort Lee.

Sylvan Ridge has the unique distinction of being at the foot of everything and a short trip to almost anything else. Within a few block walk of the building you will find restaurants, bars, movie theaters, a super market, a drug store, dry cleaners, banks, a large public park with hiking trails, and much more. You'll also find the bus at the Bridge which makes for a great commute if you work in Manhattan.  The bus goes direct from the George Washington Bridge to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal on the New York Side of the River which connects to just about anywhere in Manhattan.  Or if you prefer the open air you can take the NY Waterway Shuttle Bus to the Edgewater Ferry Terminal just down River Road. If you drive to work, access to the highways couldn't be any closer to get to points further north or west.
